Summer Lab 2018
Each year, Amnesty International Italy organises a series of seven-day Summer Labs, designed to give young people a first-hand, immersive experience in human rights education. These participatory workshops offer a unique opportunity for youth—often without prior experience in the field—to explore key human rights issues through interactive activities, dialogue with fellow young activists, and powerful testimonies from rights holders.
This particular edition was held in Lampedusa, a symbolic location at the heart of the Mediterranean migration routes, offering a meaningful backdrop for learning about migration, borders, and solidarity.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
On November 25–26, 2017, over 150,000 people gathered in Rome to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Organised by the feminist movement Non Una di Meno, the march united participants across generations to protest patriarchal violence and advocate for systemic change.
