Guppi Bola supports activists and organisations who are building power in social movements. She does this by thinking about their leadership, offering coaching and developing political strategy through an anti oppression lens. The brief was creating a brand that would have looked fresh, modern and playful and that would have reflect her indian roots.
The logo is composed by two elements that work well together or separately. The first one is a quirk alteration of a well spaced and humanist typeface, inspired by the typographic practice of street painters in Delhi. The second one is a symbol which represents the profiles of four faces (negative space) and a shape ispired by indian tiles (positive space).
The four faces simbolize the community work that Guppi does, bringing together people for social change. Starting from this I created a set of illustrations that would animate to describe the role of Guppi Bola. Visit her website at guppibola.com
